Through play activities using stories, puppetry, artwork, etc., participants will learn about positive ways of dealing with anger. Ages 8-12.

A simultaneous workshop is run to support the parents who have concerns about their children's abilities to appropriately express their anger.

This is an extended interactive workshop applying CCRC activities to the challenges parents and teachers encounter in this area with children. Conflict styles and creative options will be explored.
Youth are welcome if interested in subject and are motivated to participate.

This 12-hour comprehensive weekend program deals with the needs of the busy family that is looking for an effective and creative approach to dealing with conflict issues.

This workshop is a compilation of these 3 sessional topics: "Feelings Count: Ways To Deal Creatively With Anger And Other Feelings", "Solving Conflict Cooperatively", and "Ways To Affirm Children". These topics cover positive communication, community-building and problem solving, and establishing positive self-esteem.

In this interactive workshop, we will look at ways to enable a balanced win/win situation for both the bully and victim. Strategies and techniques to de-escalate anger and conflict will be examined.

Participants explore ways of creatively implementing and integrating CCRC into their lives and their work with children. Participants will gain an understanding of the CCRC model and approach through experiential activities. Of benefit to parents, teachers, child care workers, and community workers.

Strengthen CCRC skills in learning how to plan, implement, and facilitate workshops for adults or student groups. Participants also have the opportunity to further explore the integration of CCRC concepts and approaches into their lives and work with children. PREREQUISITE : Level 1 training.

Participants will learn the basic skills of effective peer mediation and how to implement a program in their school or community. Attention is focused on preparing youth mediators to use conflict resolution with effective communication and problem solving methods. For adults or student groups. 2-day course.

This interactive workshop will help children and adults better understand the root causes for bullying and victimizing. It will explore effective assertive ways to deal with bullying.

PARENT AND TEEN WORKSHOP ON CONFLICT RESOLUTION

These are interactive workshops for parents and teens to attend together to look at alternative ways to deal with conflict issues.
